The Orem Utah Temple is located between the Wasatch Mountains and Utah Lake, in an area once settled by Norwegian immigrants.
Inspired by the local landscape, the temple features the cherry blossom as the central motif of its design, appearing in the stained glass, wooden panels, and metal details. The building has three floors and a central tower, with its exterior clad in Pedras Salgadas granite.
The decorative motifs draw inspiration from the surrounding nature — the lake, wetlands, and orchards — blending simplicity with elegance. Dedicated in January 2024, the temple stands as a symbol of faith, beauty, and connection to Orem’s history and landscape.
